Using this Guide<br />
Adhesive/Substrate Selection Guide<br />
This guide can be used to assist in choosing<br />
a product or products to evaluate for a given<br />
application. The substrates that may be<br />
involved are listed in the first column. The<br />
3M products that you may want to evaluate<br />
are grouped by type in the next seven<br />
columns. For example, you want to bond<br />
metal to ceramic <strong>and</strong> have structural<br />
strength. First, select the substrate heading<br />
“Metal to:”, shown in the dark green area<br />
upper left of page 39. Then move down<br />
four lines to “Glass <strong>and</strong> Ceramics” <strong>and</strong> look<br />
across the columns under the heading<br />
“Structurals”. There are c<strong>and</strong>idate products<br />
in this example, available in the 3M <br />
Scotch-Weld Epoxy, Acrylic, Urethane<br />
