Approved Meeting Minutes – 02/<strong>15</strong>/<strong>2013</strong><br />
VIII. Dr. Huggins moved to deny MFT Ms. Dionne Bloomfield’s petition <strong>for</strong> the <strong>Board</strong> to<br />
approve her to carry over 3 hours <strong>of</strong> Ethics Continuing Education Units (CEUs) earned<br />
in a 6 credit course attended in 2012 to use in <strong>2013</strong> <strong>for</strong> her 2014 license renewal. There<br />
is no carryover <strong>of</strong> CEUs. Seconded by Dr. Unthank. Motion passed unanimously.<br />
Dr. Huggins moved to deny MFT Ms. Dionne Bloomfield’s petition <strong>for</strong> the <strong>Board</strong> to<br />
approve her license renewal using her submitted 18.5 hours <strong>of</strong> CEUs. She is short 1.5<br />
CEUs to meet requirement. Her license is in automatically revoked status. However, she<br />
may reinstate her license. Seconded by Dr. Unthank. Motion passed unanimously.<br />
IX. Motion was made by Dr. Huggins to approve the following individuals <strong>for</strong> extensions<br />
to internships, as submitted by MFT-Interns <strong>and</strong> CPC-Interns. Dr. Unthank seconded.<br />
Motion passed unanimously.<br />

X. Mr. Harrison moved to accept the following MFT-Interns <strong>and</strong> CPC-Intern, who have<br />
submitted final minimum internship hours <strong>for</strong> licensure as <strong>Marriage</strong> <strong>and</strong> Family<br />
Therapists <strong>and</strong> Clinical Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Counselor. All have passed the appropriate National<br />
exams. Dr. Huggins seconded. Motion passed unanimously<br />

Note: Mr. Harrison <strong>and</strong> Ms. Sutherl<strong>and</strong> joined the meeting at 9:17am.<br />
XI. 1-Motion made by Ms. Winkler to approve the following individuals <strong>for</strong> <strong>Marriage</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />
Family Therapist Internship except Mr. Shelly Ferguson-Kelly, Ms. Melanie Purdy, Ms.<br />
Anjuli Silveira, Ms. Katrina Zmaila, Ms. Erica Casco, Ms. Mona Martinez, Rebecca<br />
Nemecek <strong>and</strong> Ms. Stephanie Steed. Dr. Unthank seconded. Motion passed unanimously.<br />
2-Ms. Winkler moved to deny internship to Ms. Ferguson-Kelly because there was no<br />
submission <strong>for</strong> supervision <strong>and</strong> a lack <strong>of</strong> internship proposal. Seconded by Dr. Unthank.<br />
Motion passed unanimously.<br />
