LGBT Rights: A Human Rights Perspective Human Rights Resource Center, University of Minnesota High School Lesson Plans This curriculum provides teachers with nine lesson plans exploring LGBT rights in the larger context of human rights. After taking an online bias test, students explore historical events, different perspectives and media representations of homosexuality. Safe Schools for LGBTQ Youth Hate Crimes in the Classroom Safe Schools Coalition High School Lesson Plans This lesson asks students to explore a past hate crime in the Illinois school district and to analyze the response to it.
