Bassoon Day brings together bassoonists from<br />

across the st<strong>at</strong>e for a day-long event th<strong>at</strong> fe<strong>at</strong>ures a<br />

recital and master classes with Richard Svoboda, principal<br />

bassoonist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and professor<br />

of bassoon <strong>at</strong> The New England Conserv<strong>at</strong>ory. Participants will<br />

also have the opportunity to share ideas, play in a bassoon choir,<br />

try bassoons and check-out all the l<strong>at</strong>est in reed tools and other<br />

bassoon-rel<strong>at</strong>ed products.<br />
