otolaryngologist alan Kominsky, md, facs, is now board-<br />

certified in sleep medicine and available to provide surgical<br />

treatments for obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. he sees<br />

patients at cleveland clinic’s main campus, Beachwood family<br />

health and surgery center, and the sleep center at fairhill.<br />

dr. Kominsky, a staff member of the head & neck institute, is<br />

joint-appointed in cleveland clinic’s sleep disorders center.<br />

The center, a part of the neurological institute, is a multispecialty,<br />

comprehensive program dedicated to the diagnosis and<br />

treatment of sleep and awake disorders in children and adults.<br />

The center, which is accredited by the american academy of<br />

sleep medicine, comprises specialists in neurology, pediatrics,<br />

pulmonary medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, psychology,<br />

otolaryngology and dentistry. more than 6,000 sleep<br />

studies are performed each year.<br />
