The AICA will hold <strong>the</strong>ir Third Annual<br />

Western Art Exhibition and Sale on<br />

April 27, 28, 29, 1979. The Exhibition<br />

will bring to San Dimas artists and<br />

sculptures from Washington to Oklahoma<br />

to Texas. Mayor Marvin Ersher,<br />

M.D., sums up <strong>the</strong> townspeople's feel-<br />

ings. "We look forward each year to <strong>the</strong><br />

artists' return—we regard <strong>the</strong>m as personal<br />

friends and respect and appreciate<br />

each for <strong>the</strong> magnificent art <strong>the</strong>y bring to<br />

San Dimas."<br />

The AICA surely are not strangers to<br />

San Dimas. The community knows <strong>the</strong>m<br />

on a first name basis and can identify<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir work. Charlie Krauskopf, resident<br />

and one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> organizers <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> San<br />

Dimas Festival, observed, "We know<br />

and enjoy <strong>the</strong> artists and <strong>the</strong>ir work. The<br />

AICA brought to us and Sou<strong>the</strong>rn California<br />

an appreciation, not only for <strong>the</strong><br />

art, but for western history."<br />

From <strong>the</strong> AICA and <strong>the</strong>ir president,<br />

Theron Imlay, comes ano<strong>the</strong>r observation.<br />
