6.6 Mixer Shortcut Key Assignments<br />

By default, Ctrl M can be used as a shortcut key to open <strong>and</strong> close the Mixer view. In addition, most of the<br />

comm<strong>and</strong>s on the Mixer’s right-click menu can be assigned keyboard shortcuts of your own. Any of the following<br />

actions can be assigned to your own shortcuts:<br />

Mixer: toggle docking in Docker<br />

Mixer: toggle tracks with receives grouping to left<br />

Mixer: toggle folder tracks grouping to left<br />

Mixer: toggle show normal top level tracks in mixer<br />

Mixer: toggle tracks with receives in mixer<br />

Mixer: toggle show tracks in folders in mixer<br />

Mixer: toggle show multiple rows when space<br />

Mixer: toggle show multiple rows even when space to fit tracks in less rows<br />

Mixer: toggle show master controls on right side<br />

Mixer: toggle show pan controls on top<br />

Mixer: toggle show sends if space available<br />

Mixer: toggle show FX inserts if space available<br />

Mixer: toggle show folder tracks in mixer<br />

Mixer: toggle scroll view when tracks activated<br />

Keyboard shortcuts are assigned via the Keyboard / Control page of the Options, Preferences window. How<br />

to create <strong>and</strong> assign keyboard shortcuts is explained in several places in this <strong>User</strong> <strong>Guide</strong>, for example in Section<br />

2.8, Section 4.6 <strong>and</strong> Section 4.7.<br />

6.7 Mixer Colour Themes<br />

The topic of customising colours for your various screen elements is covered in detail in Section 10 of this <strong>User</strong><br />

<strong>Guide</strong>. Meanwhile, you might wish to note that the following mixer-specific items can be assigned your custom<br />

colours by displaying the Options, Preferences window <strong>and</strong> the selecting the Colour Theme settings page:<br />

Mixer FX text normal<br />

Mixer FX text bypassed<br />

Mixer FX text offline<br />

Mixer sends text normal<br />

Mixer sends text muted.<br />

In addition, you can change the colour settings for your VU<br />

meters, <strong>and</strong> specify whether you want the display to be interlaced.<br />

VU meter clip indicator<br />

VU meter top<br />

VU meter middle<br />

VU meter bottom<br />

VU meter interlace/edge colour<br />

Click on any colour shown that you wish to change to open the Colours window. Don’t forget to Apply your<br />

changes when finished.<br />
