Save your Undo History with the Project File. This means that even after retrieving the file at some later<br />

date, you will still be able to revert the project to an earlier state if you wish.<br />

Store multiple undo/redo paths.<br />

Note also that the Undo History window is dockable.<br />

4.22 <strong>REAPER</strong> Editing Fundamentals<br />

Select Items<br />

Select an Item by clicking on the Item. The colour of the Item will change to indicate it has been selected.<br />

Select multiple Items by using Ctrl Click.<br />

Select adjacent Items by using Shift Click.<br />

Select groups of Items by holding down the Alt key, then right-clicking <strong>and</strong> dragging a marquee around the<br />

Items.<br />

Split Items<br />

If no Item is selected, pressing S will split all Items on all Tracks at the Edit Cursor position.<br />

If Item(s) are selected, pressing S will split all selected Item(s) at the Edit Cursor position.<br />

If Item(s) are selected, pressing Shift S will split all selected Item(s) at the Loop Selection.<br />

Copy Items<br />

There are several ways to copy Item/s in <strong>REAPER</strong>.<br />

Use Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl C to copy any selected Items.<br />

Right-click on an item <strong>and</strong> select Copy selected items from the menu.<br />

Select an item, then select Edit, Copy selected items.<br />

Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging the Item(s).<br />

Paste Items<br />

There are several ways to paste Item/s in <strong>REAPER</strong><br />

Use Keyboard Shortcut Ctrl V to paste an Item at the current cursor position. If a Track is selected, the<br />

Item will be pasted into the selected Track. If no Track is selected, the Item will be pasted into the last<br />

selected Track.<br />
