This menu is accessed by right-clicking over the Record<br />

Arm button of any track.<br />

An explanation of the menu follows.<br />

The first two of these options are mutually exclusive: you<br />

should select whichever of these you prefer if you wish to<br />

use <strong>REAPER</strong>’s input monitoring. You do not need to select<br />

either of these options, however, if using any input<br />

monitoring facility supplied by your sound card.<br />

Optionally, you may choose to also monitor track media<br />

when recording.<br />

In most cases, for normal recording you will want to select<br />

Record: input<br />

However, the other options (mutually exclusive) are available<br />

if <strong>and</strong> as required.<br />

Mono Input Displays sub menu from which to select the required mono<br />

input from your sound card.<br />

Stereo Input Displays sub menu from which to select the required stereo<br />

input from your sound card.<br />

MIDI Input Displays a menu from which to select your required MIDI<br />

device <strong>and</strong> channels<br />
