Petition to Apply for Graduation
After the Deadline
If you are applying for graduation this term but missed the application deadline, you must complete this late
graduation petition and submit it to the Office of the Registrar.
To be considered a candidate after the deadline for the current term, you must petition by the last day of classes.
Please follow the instructions below.
1. Your application must be approved by the Office of the Registrar. If approved and you wish to attend the
commencement ceremony, you will need to contact the Barns and Nobles Bookstore on the Northwest
campus to purchase your regalia. (Check the Commencement information on the graduation website for
more information.)
2. You must attach your graduation status summary to this petition.
3. If you are not a current student, you may need to readmit before your graduation application can be
processed. The readmit button will appear on your eSantaFe account if your records are on history.
4. Because you are applying after the deadline, your name will not appear in the commencement program.
5. Diplomas are mailed 4 to 6 weeks after graduation to the address you have indicated on the application.
