<strong>Petition</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>Apply</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Graduation</strong><br />
<strong>After</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Deadline</strong><br />
If you are applying <strong>for</strong> graduation this term but missed <strong>the</strong> application deadline, you must complete this late<br />
graduation petition and submit it <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Office of <strong>the</strong> Registrar.<br />
To be considered a candidate after <strong>the</strong> deadline <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> current term, you must petition by <strong>the</strong> last day of classes.<br />
Please follow <strong>the</strong> instructions below.<br />
1. Your application must be approved by <strong>the</strong> Office of <strong>the</strong> Registrar. If approved and you wish <strong>to</strong> attend <strong>the</strong><br />
commencement ceremony, you will need <strong>to</strong> contact <strong>the</strong> Barns and Nobles Books<strong>to</strong>re on <strong>the</strong> Northwest<br />
campus <strong>to</strong> purchase your regalia. (Check <strong>the</strong> Commencement in<strong>for</strong>mation on <strong>the</strong> graduation website <strong>for</strong><br />
more in<strong>for</strong>mation.)<br />
2. You must attach your graduation status summary <strong>to</strong> this petition.<br />
3. If you are not a current student, you may need <strong>to</strong> readmit be<strong>for</strong>e your graduation application can be<br />
processed. The readmit but<strong>to</strong>n will appear on your e<strong>Santa</strong><strong>Fe</strong> account if your records are on his<strong>to</strong>ry.<br />
4. Because you are applying after <strong>the</strong> deadline, your name will not appear in <strong>the</strong> commencement program.<br />
5. Diplomas are mailed 4 <strong>to</strong> 6 weeks after graduation <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> address you have indicated on <strong>the</strong> application.<br />
