Dive computers are one of the most important gadgets when diving. They
compute many of the math formulas you need while diving.
There are many different types of dive computers. Air integrated can tell
you how much air you have in you tank. Dive computers can also tell you
when your ascending or descending to fast. It can keep track of your
dives.
If you have 2100 PSI out of 3000 PSI you are still good on air. If you have
1100 PSI out of 3000 PSI, you might want to head back to the boat or land.
Knowing your air consumption rate is a math calculation you need to
know when diving if your computer fails under water.
Normally you want to use this diving formula:
1/3 air for going down
1/3 air for coming back
1/3 air when you surface for safety pre caution
