Speed Fever IV will take place at Colorado’s premier road track, High Plains Raceway in Byers, CO<br />
(www.highplainsraceway.com). The event will again be two days – <strong>April</strong> 27 and 28.<br />
Register now for your treatment before it’s too late!<br />
Event registration is now open online via MotorsportReg.com. At some unknown point we will order<br />
shirts. If you have registered, you<br />
will get the correct size shirt; if you<br />
registered after we have ordered<br />
shirts you may not get the correct<br />
size shirt (in fact you may not get<br />
a shirt at all…). Registration will<br />
close on Monday <strong>April</strong> 22nd at<br />

Pricing for the event is changed<br />
from last year: the primary driver<br />
is $260 for 2 days or $180 for 1<br />
day; co-drivers are $235 and $155,<br />
respectively.<br />

Technical inspections <strong>of</strong> cars for<br />
the event will be held on Wednesday<br />
<strong>April</strong> 17th at Eurosport Ltd. in<br />
Englewood (303-789-2545), Poudre Sports Car in Fort Collins (970-229-0990), and Carquip in Boulder (303-<br />
443-1343). Inspections at the participating shops on that date are performed at no charge. Inspections at<br />
the track will be <strong>of</strong>fered; the fee for track inspections is $50 (unless you have a preapproved excuse and a<br />
notarized memo from the surgeon general). We highly recommend taking the time to get your car inspected<br />
beforehand since any issues identified at a track inspection will be harder to address and you may risk not<br />
being able to drive in the event. If you have any concerns, questions or thoughts about the inspection <strong>of</strong><br />
your car, send the co-chairs an email and they will work with you on your issues.<br />
This year our charity will be the Winter Park Volunteer Ski Patrol Educational Fund in honor <strong>of</strong> our late<br />
friend Gary Dodge. We will collect donations and fees for noon track tours and submit them on his behalf.<br />
