protocol was successfully completed, this will result in one Modality Performed Procedure Step.
Therefore, all images that are part of this particular instance of an ultrasound acquisition protocol
will have the same Procedure Code Sequence (0032,1064). It is recommended that all the images
that are part of this particular instance of an ultrasound acquisition protocol have the same
Performed Procedure Step ID. In an environment with information system connectivity, the
Procedure Code Sequence can be used to identify all the images that were acquired as part of that
protocol. If no information system connectivity is available, then Performed Procedure Step ID
may be used to identify all the images that were acquired as part of that protocol.
It is recommended that each stage should map to a separate series.
