AGE LEVELS: Preschool to Lower Primary. This video for younger students introduces
Dottie and Buzz, child-size puppets whose adventures will encourage students to think
about some of life's deeper issues. There are five 10 minute programs on this video. The
five programs are Belonging, Creation, Baptism, Wide World and Forgiving. The 'Dottie

Christianity (2007 ) Kit AGE LEVELS: Age 7-11 There are five segments on this video
that explores key aspects of Christianity. Each segment is around 14 minutes. Song,
personal stories and animations make this an attractive resource. 1. Creation - God the
Creator; stewardship of creation. 2. Jesus - the Christmas story, the story of Zaccheus,
people responding to God's call. 3. Easter - the story of Jesus' death and resurrection is
told within the images from Greek Orthodox celebrations; story of the dragonfly. 4. The
Church - a Catholic First Communion and baptism; living as church. 5. The Bible - the

story of Mary Jones; the influence of the Bible on people's lives; the story of the Good

Students watch and listen to the telling of the story of The Last Supper as part of this
activity. Students then complete a visual retrieval chart in response to the story.

Catholic basics for kids DVD 2000 AGE LEVELS: EY to UP Catholic Basics for Kids
contains four of the popular titles from the Gaynell Cronin series for children.
WHAT IS THE BIBLE? (16 mins) A student's project on the ways stories are told leads to a
discussion with a friend and a teacher about the Bible. The program gives an overview of the
contents of the Bible, looks particularly at the Creation story, the stories of Moses and of Ruth, the

WHAT IS A SACRAMENT? (11min) A mother explains to two young boys the church's

Book for students to accompany the video "Dottie and Buzz". The Teachers' Guide
includes lesson ideas, worksheets and song sheets. The Activity Book contains some
great worksheets to support the video such as 'things that are natural and man-made',
'animal families', a creation mobile, and a sequencing activity for the forgiveness chapter

God Wants Me To Forgive Them? Veggie Tales DVD 35 mins 1994
AGE LEVELS: Preschool to Middle Primary. The Grapes Of Wrath: Larry the Cucumber
tells the story about the grapes who made fun of Jr Asparagus. Based on Matthew
18:22. Larry's Lagoon: Larry ruins a boat tour and feels rejected. Bob the tomato
reminds Larry that everyone makes mistakes sometimes. Based on Colossians 3:13.
Both these animated stories stress the importance of forgiveness. Also available on VHS.
Forgive us our debts DVD 2005 AGE LEVELS: EY to UP Simon Peter is fishing when
tax collectors appear demanding money from him and saying insulting things about
Jesus. Peter visits Jesus to share his bitterness about the tax collectors. Jesus tells Peter
the parable about a man who owed his king a lot of money. The king forgave the man
his debts but the man was unable to forgive the debts of others. The DVD includes a quiz
and links to Scripture references and to clips from the program. Chapter selection is
available.

EY Episode 10 in the Cherub Wings series focuses on God who is both all powerful and all
loving. There are thirteen episodes in the series and each episode teaches children the

DVD introduces young children to prayer. There are eleven animated songs that children

The Mass for Children and Young People DVD 35 mins
AGE LEVELS: Lower Primary to Junior High The DVD is in three sections - The Mass for
Older Children (UP-JH, 13 mins), Mass for Young Children (LP-MP, 10 mins) and Why Do
We Go to Mass on Sunday? (MP-UP,12 mins). In The Mass for Older Children and the
Mass for Young Children the parts of the Mass and reasons for them are simply and

Sunday morning and in God's name (2001) DVD AGE LEVELS: MY 3-6 This DVD
from Oblate Media and Communication includes two well-known titles. SUNDAY
MORNING: A presentation for children that is adapted from the book of the same name.
Children's drawings and voices are combined with stories from Scripture and a
commentary about celebrating Eucharist on Sunday. Some of the stories include Noah,
Moses, David, the Last Supper, the Resurrection, the Good Samaritan and the feeding of
the 5,000. Simple responses and songs for children to sing at Mass are included in the
presentation. IN GOD'S NAME: A beautiful exploration of the many ways we name God
through our variety of human experience and encounters. Using multicultural
illustrations and original music and lyrics, this story weaves the truth found in each
