wondering if this could be better than a bicycle!<br />
This was the second successive year at Houghton<br />
Golf Club. While player comments about the venue<br />
accessibility, modern clubhouse facilities, food and<br />
service were very complimentary (as in 2011), we<br />
did receive a number of frowns from a golfing<br />
perspective. It seems that the greens were<br />
exceptionally hard to negotiate this time around<br />
(as one might expect of a preferred course for the<br />
SA Opens). We will therefore have a look around at<br />
a number of other golf courses in the<br />
Johannesburg area before we book for 2013. Your<br />
suggestions in this regard are welcome. As far as<br />
the weather is concerned it seems that May<br />
remains a safe option.<br />
