The above data shows that HealthSMART will essentially meet its approved overall<br />
cost budgets. However, a number of factors need to be taken into account, when<br />
analysing this outcome.<br />
First, based on our earlier analysis of implementation status, it is not clear that all<br />
applications will be implemented as originally planned and approved. To the extent that<br />
the original target number of applications for a component is not implemented there<br />
should be cost savings. To the extent that additional applications are delivered, an<br />
allowance for the additional cost of these needs to be made.
