2010 neW FunDS
each year, the Community Foundation is
honored to work with new donors who
are eager to make a difference through
the establishment of a charitable fund.
to date, the Community Foundation
has established more than 110 charitable
funds. each fund is unique and customized
based on the donor’s charitable goals
today and into the future. In 2010,
the Community Foundation welcomed

robert C. Wasson Memorial Fund
Robert and Allison Forte established a designated fund
in honor of their son, Anthony. Anthony is a happy,
healthy, blue-eyed boy who was born with Down
Syndrome. While many children born with Down
Syndrome suffer from devastating health issues,
Anthony’s health is nothing short of fantastic! Robert
and Allison recognize how blessed they have been and
wanted to give back to others, who are less fortunate.
Thus, the creation of the Anthony’s Army Fund to
benefit special needs children and their families.
Steve Cummins was a
legend in the world of
Lakota soccer. Not only was
he the Lakota West Boys
Head Soccer Coach, he was
a tremendous science and
physical education teacher
from 1983-2003. Upon his
passing funds were
raised to support the establishment
of a new entrance
to the soccer fields at the
newly-named Steve Cummins
Soccer Park at Lakota
West High School.
