<strong>The</strong> <strong>Delray</strong> <strong>Beach</strong> <strong>Sunrise</strong> <strong>Kiwanis</strong> <strong>Club</strong><br />

completed several joint<br />

projects with the AHS Key club.<br />

Thanksgiving morning our clubs delivered 29<br />

turkey dinners to the needy. <strong>Kiwanis</strong> members<br />

in attendance were: Jeff Goldman, Ernie Galinis,<br />

Terrill Pyburn, Regina Sablo, and Alberta Rickard,<br />

along with other family members and friends.<br />

A Special Thanks goes to Tony Maragita and the<br />

AHS Key <strong>Club</strong> which provided another dozen helpers.<br />

<strong>The</strong> members <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Delray</strong> <strong>Beach</strong><br />

<strong>Sunrise</strong> <strong>Kiwanis</strong> also donated 120<br />

items for the AHS Key <strong>Club</strong><br />

initiative <strong>of</strong> making canned good<br />

donations to the<br />

Ronald McDonald House.<br />

During the last few meetings, we have<br />

been honored to have Jim Van Patten<br />

attend our meetings. Jim is a long time<br />

member <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Delray</strong> <strong>Beach</strong> Noon-Time<br />

club. Always good to see you Jim!<br />

At our November Board meeting, there<br />

was a discussion about the future <strong>of</strong> the<br />

<strong>Delray</strong> <strong>Beach</strong> Noon-Time <strong>Kiwanis</strong> club.<br />

<strong>The</strong>y’ve been having trouble with<br />

maintaining their membership. One <strong>of</strong> the<br />

options is they become a satellite club. So,<br />

we may have an <strong>of</strong>ficial sister club. Stay<br />

Tuned!<br />

Our Project agenda for the coming year<br />

was also set-up:<br />

1. Sponsoring a T-Ball & Soccer team.<br />

2. Horses for the Handicapped.<br />

3. Books for Crosspointe Elementary.<br />

4. BUGS<br />

5. City Easter Egg Hunt and Easter<br />

bunny visit at Bethesda Pediatric<br />

ward.<br />

6. Support and assistance to the<br />

American Heritage School Key &<br />

Builders <strong>Club</strong>s.<br />

7. AVDA<br />

8. Toys for Tots.
