I want to thank all members who have supplied names of
prospective members for the May 7th "Race To Serve One
More Child At A Time" membership drive luncheon.
Your input has resulted in 75 new member prospects
who will be invited to the event. Details regarding the venue
and program are forthcoming. A special thanks to the
membership committee and chair, John Kahlenberg, for
planning and coordinating this exciting opportunity to grow
our membership.
Believe it or not, our Kiwanis year is now at the midpoint!
We could say "the glass is half empty", but in the case of
KCC I prefer to state that "the glass is half full". We can
take pride in accomplishments of the past, but let's focus on
the opportunities that lie ahead.
We will have the May 7th membership event in which
all can participate. When we welcome prospective members
we want to share a "Kiwanis moment" and our passion
for who we are and what we do!
The Beef and Boards fundraiser is now in the final planning
stages. Hector needs our help and financial support to
make this June 23rd event an outstanding success once
again!
Your Club election of officers and directors will be held
Tuesday, April 30th. Participation in this process is important
for the future of KCC. The nominating committee
chaired by president-elect, John Kahlenberg, is now in the
process of filling all of the leadership roles for 2013-2014.
Please contact John if you are interested in serving.
