ITS BLUE COLLECTION FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2010
NEW YORK, NEW YORK AND AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS (September 2009) –
Tommy Hilfiger is pleased to announce the premiere of its Blue collection, a selection from the
Spring/Summer 2010 Hilfiger Denim collection. The Blue line will roll out worldwide in select Tommy
Hilfiger retail stores and top-tier wholesale stores in January 2010.

Hilfiger. “This new line combines cutting-edge pieces with vintage styles to create a distinctively
contemporary look.”
Hilfiger Denim’s Blue collection pays homage to the craft of vintage clothing with authentic tailoring details
and handcrafted elements. Made from the finest fabrics, items in this collection are executed in cashmeres,
shirt weight leathers, double cottons, silk crepe, modal jerseys, three-count twist twills, Benson blue
selvedge denim, organic denims and selvedge chino fabrics. Next to several vintage styles the collection also
offers styles that are executed with seamless armholes, demonstrating a move away from traditional fits.
Key items in the Blue line for women include ‘boyfriend’ fit pants, a jersey with handcrafted needlepoint
sign off, a leather blouse and a sleeveless top with a large bow. The Blue line collection for men includes a
chino with braces, a premium fine jersey, a chambray shirt and an easy hooded top in the finest cashmere.
Items in both lines have a neutral color palette consisting of several shades of blue, in addition to light khaki
and ivory tones.
The Spring/Summer 2010 Hilfiger Denim collection consists of three fashion groups, which translate the
optimism and strength as seen in the peace movements, film, music and art from the 1960s, into the cool
and edgy styles of Hilfiger Denim. The collection features highlights from retro fleeces and laser printed
jerseys inspired by technical looks to gingham shirts tied at the waist and flared skirts.
