Quantibody®:
Quantifies multiple protein in one experiment!
Quantibody array is a multiplex, sandwich-based ELISA suitable for many different type of samples (cell culture
supernatant, serum, plasma, tissue lysate, and other body fluids) which has been designed to measure the
concentration of multiple proteins in one experiment. Like a traditional sandwich-based ELISA, it uses a pair
of protein specific antibodies for detection. However, Quantibody takes this method of analysis to another
level. By arraying multiple specific capture antibodies onto a glass support, multiplex detection and
quantification of proteins in one experiment is made possible.
➠ More data with less sample
➠ High sensitivity and reproducibility
➠ More affordable and cost-effective
➠ Well-suited for high-throughput assays
➠ Saves time and precious sample
➠ Easy analysis with Q Analyzer software
One standard glass slide is spotted with 16 wells of
identical protein antibody arrays. Each antibody,
together with the positive and negative control is
arrayed in quadruplicate. One slide can thus be
used for processing 16 samples. For protein
quantification, the array specific protein standards
are provided whose concentrations have been
predetermined. The serial dilution of the protein
standard will be assayed along side the samples to
generate a 6 to 8 point standard curve, leaving 8 to
10 wells for experimental samples.
Slides are analysed with a standard microarray
scanner.
Quantibody array-specific Q Analyzer is available for
data computation. It is an Excel-based program,
which is easy to operate and requires no
professional training. Simply copy and paste the
raw data into the assigned area. The program will
automatically remove the outlier spots and
output standard curves and sample cytokine
concentrations.
