imperfect, and since rhetorical persuasion includes the<br />

popular mentality, other means would be more effective. <strong>The</strong><br />

disfavor with which Scholasticism was regarded would have<br />

extended to matters <strong>of</strong> logic. His lesson is the world he<br />
