Single Malt While other regions might have their trademark flavours, Speyside is tougher to pin down. Many whiskies from this area are light and sweet – perfect for charming both newcomers and veterans – while others thump the palate with deep, powerful flavours. With over 40 distilleries within its borders, Speyside is home to around 50% of Scotland’s distilleries.
