NOTICE INVITING TENDER
The Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India, Mumbai Circle, Sion fort Sion, Mumbai,
on behalf of President of India, invites tender in sealed cover for execution of following item of work from the
approved and eligible contractors/Suppliers of ASI / CPWD / MES / PWD / Railways and Public undertakings
who have experience in execution of similar works of repute, up to 15:00 hrs.28.12.2012 and will be opened in
the office of the Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India, Mumbai Circle, Mumbai on the
same day at 15:30hrs. The details of work can be seen in the office on all working days between 11.00 to 4.00
PM.

The earnest money and tender cost Rs. [1000+122 vat] be obtained separately in the form of Demand draft of
any Nationalized Bank in favour of the “Superintending Archaeologist, Archaeological Survey of India,
Mumbai Circle, Mumbai-22”.
The sealed cover should be superscripted with the name of work & date of opening. Tender document
can also be obtained on all working days on payment of Rs.1122.00 [1000+122 vat] up to dated 27.12.2012
from the following.

Should the Tender be accepted, I/We hereby agree to abide by and fulfill at the terms and provisions of the said conditions annexed here to so far as applicable and or in default thereof
forfeit and pay the President of India or his successor’s office the sums of money mentioned in the said conditions.
A Sum of Rs.9,953/- is herewith forwarded in form of Demand Draft/Treasury Challan as Earnest Money Deposit. If I/We fail to deposit the amount of Security Deposit specified
against (ii) in the memorandum in accordance with clause 1 of the said conditions of Contract:
I/We agree that the President or his successors in office shall, without prejudice to any other right or remedy, be at liberty to forfeit the said Earnest Money Deposit shall be retained
by him towards such Security Deposit.
I/We further agree that said President or his successors in office shall also be at liberty to cancel the acceptance of the tender if /he fail to deposit the Security Amount as aforesaid.
