REMOVING THE BOTTOM COMPARTMENT THERMOSTAT,<br />
DEFROST CONTROL, LIGHT SOCKET, AND DOOR SWITCH<br />
Electrical Shock Hazard<br />
Disconnect power before servicing.<br />
Replace all parts and panels before<br />
operating.<br />
Failure to do so can result in death or<br />
electrical shock.<br />
1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.<br />
2. Open the bottom compartment door and<br />
remove the items from the top shelf so you<br />
can access the control housing.<br />

3. Remove the screw from the bottom compartment<br />
control housing and lower the<br />
housing.<br />

4. Disconnect the 2-wire and 9-wire control<br />
housing connectors and remove the control<br />
housing from the unit. Place the housing<br />
on a work surface with the component<br />
side facing up.<br />
