Placement Exams
• There are several placement exams; 450, 465, etc.
• Prerequisites must be satisfied by either taking the
course at USC or by passing the placement exam
• Taking EE 464 getting A or A- meets the
prerequisite requirement of EE 465 (and vice
versa)
• Caution: EE 465 covers Markov chains and for
networks courses taking EE 465 is preferred
• CSCI 551 Computer Communication has CSCI 402
as one of the prerequisites
• Must pass CSCI 402 placement exam or take
