Marshall County Minutes<br />
April 23, 2012<br />
The Board of Marshall<br />
County Commissioners met in<br />
regular adjourned session with<br />
Thomas K. Holle Chairman;<br />
and Robert S. Connell member<br />
and Sonya L. Stohs, County<br />
Clerk present.<br />
Commissioner Loiseau was<br />
absent from the meeting.<br />
The meeting was called to<br />
order at 9:00 a.m.<br />
The Board opened the meeting<br />
with the flag salute.<br />
The minutes and agenda<br />
were approved as presented<br />
upon a motion by Robert S.<br />
Connell, seconded by Thomas<br />
K. Holle. Motion carried.<br />
Custodian Lou Wassenberg<br />
met with the Board to have the<br />
grant paperwork for a matching<br />
funds grant in the amount of<br />
$2,812.32 for the Kansas Waste<br />
Tire Program signed. Robert S.<br />
Connell moved, seconded by<br />
Thomas K. Holle approved the<br />
Chairman sign the Contract<br />
between Secretary of Health<br />
and Environment of Kansas<br />
and Marshall County for the<br />
2012 Kansas Waste Tire Grant<br />
Program in the amount of<br />
$2,812.32. Motion carried.<br />

seconded by Thomas K. Holle<br />
to approve the vouchers, as presented,<br />
and issue manual warrants<br />
from the respective funds.<br />

were handed out to all elementary<br />
school children the week<br />

Appreciation Day on<br />
Wednesday April 25. Cookies,<br />
coffee and ice tea were served<br />
to all who visited the office. A<br />
drawing was held on Friday<br />
afternoon for a Zebco fishing<br />
pole and a family pass to the<br />
BR City Pool. The lucky winners<br />
were Cora Collette, <strong>Blue</strong><br />
<strong>Rapids</strong> who claimed the fishing<br />
pole and Kim Cummings,<br />
Waterville who received the<br />
pool pass.<br />
