The <strong>Proceedings</strong> of the Sixth <strong>Mountain</strong> <strong>Lion</strong> Workshop is dedicated to Michael Gratson.<br />
Dr. Gratson died in a helicopter crash while monitoring mountain lion transects just days<br />
after presenting 2 papers at the Sixth <strong>Mountain</strong> <strong>Lion</strong> Workshop in San Antonio. Michael<br />
was an accomplished biologist with Idaho Game and Fish and was active in their elk,<br />
grouse, and mountain lion programs.
