Heavy to light rains in wilay<strong>at</strong>s bring relief<br />

MUSCAT — Heavy to light rains<br />

fell in some governor<strong>at</strong>es of the<br />

Sultan<strong>at</strong>e yesterday, which led to<br />

the overlow of some wadis.<br />

In the Governor<strong>at</strong>e of South Al<br />

Sharqiyah, heavy rains fell in the<br />

wilay<strong>at</strong>s of Jaalan Bani Bu Hassan,<br />

Jaalan Bani Bu Ali and the Niyab<strong>at</strong><br />

of Al Ash'kharah, which led to the<br />

overlow of wadis. Light rains fell<br />

in the wilay<strong>at</strong>s of Masirah and<br />

Sur.<br />

In the Governor<strong>at</strong>e of Al<br />

Dakhiliyah, light rains fell in the<br />

Wilay<strong>at</strong> of Adam.<br />

Light rains also fell in the<br />

wilay<strong>at</strong>s of Al Mudhaibi, Bidiyah,<br />

Ibra, Al Qabil and the Niyab<strong>at</strong><br />

of Sinaw in the Governor<strong>at</strong>e of<br />

North Al Sharqiyah, as well as<br />

the Wilay<strong>at</strong> of Mahout in the<br />

Governor<strong>at</strong>e of Al Wusta. — ONA
