Oscillating switch – enables the louvers to swing automatically<br />

Factors Causing the Unit to Malfunction<br />
Control panel – do not use any sharp object to press the buttons on the<br />
control panel<br />
Please clean out any remaining water in the reservoir and ensure it is<br />
completely dry prior to storage<br />
Do not place objects on the unit or this may cause damage to the casing<br />
Instructions on Using the <strong>Cooler</strong> Blocks<br />
1. Open the water inlet and remove the cooler blocks from the unit<br />
2. Release the cover on the block in a counter-clockwise direction<br />
3. Fill the cooler blocks with water up the fill level<br />
4. Tighten the cover in a clockwise direction and shake the cooler to<br />
ensure the ice crystals reach full saturation<br />
5. Place cooler blocks in home freezer for a minimum of three hours<br />
6. Remove from freezer and place in water reservoir filled with water<br />
7. Enjoy even cooler airflow<br />
Precautions<br />
1. Do not empty refrigerants from the cooler block<br />
2. It is not necessary to re-fill the cooler block with water – only to refreeze<br />
3. If the refrigerants are eaten or consumed please consult your doctor<br />
immediately<br />
4. If refrigerants enter the eye, flush with plenty of clean water and<br />
consult your doctor immediately<br />
Safety Instructions<br />
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should be<br />
followed.<br />
1. Prior to using the air cooler check the power cord for any signs of<br />
damage – do not use if the power cord is frayed or there are exposed<br />
wires<br />
2. Place the air cooler on a firm, flat level surface<br />
3. Always place the air cooler away from heat sources such as ovens,<br />
stoves, radiators, or heaters as these can damage the unit<br />
4. Place the air cooler in an area where it is not accessible to children and<br />
with the power cord positioned so that it is not a trip hazard<br />
5. Always unplug and empty the air cooler before serving or cleaning<br />
6. Never try turning on the power while the unit is unplugged<br />
7. Never tilt or attempt to move the air cooler while it is operating<br />
8. Always unplug the air cooler prior to any movement<br />
9. Turn the air cooler off if the relative humidity is very high
