The Provisional results of the Lifeline 2011 Curborough Sprint Championship are
that the championship has been won by John Gallagher at the wheel of his Honda
Integra, with second in the
championship falling to the very
rapid 1 litre Mini turbo of
Graham Harvey. The turbo Mini
saw double action at the
meeting when Graham offered
Julian Fishwick a drive after his
Mini sprang an oil leak. Julian
then promptly destroyed the
finish line board and wiped out
the timing gear at the finish line
when he turned right at flagpole
hairpin on the first lap of his
timed run. He was awarded a
Graham Harvey Austin Mini Turbo piece of the finish line board
after the event!
The provisional
results of the
Novice class
make Alasdair
Mercer the top
driver in his
Renault Clio
from Tim Brown
and Pete Barlow,
both tied on 85
points each.
