September 22, 1935 at the James Cox
Brady Estate in Lamington, NJ.
Gauner v. Fleesensee, an eight pound
black and tan smooth dog owned by George
McKay Schiefflin, was the OAAD winner.
Amsel v. Holzgarten, a 12 pound black and
tan smooth bitch also owned by Schiefflin,
placed first in the OAAB stake and beat
Gauner to win the inter-stake competition.

The Dachshund Club of New Jersey held its
first licensed trial on April 23, 1967, becoming
just the second club to in the nation to
offer Dachshund field trials.

miniature smooth bitch owned by Gwen
Wexler, in 1980.
March 24, 1984. Held under the aegis of the
Northern California Dachshund Club.
