Welcome!!!<br />
• This is a high end deer <strong>and</strong> hog hunt that will take<br />
place on private property in the famous Lowcountry of<br />
South Carolina<br />
• Each hunter will be allowed to harvest 1 buck 12” or<br />
bigger <strong>and</strong> either 1 doe or 1 hog (maximum of 2<br />
animals)<br />
• The outfitter offers a 1 st class 4 bedroom, 5 bath lodge<br />
that can accommodate up to 12 hunters. It comes<br />
complete with fireplace, big screen <strong>and</strong> wireless<br />
internet.<br />

• Each night after our hunts we will gather in the main<br />
lodge to enjoy dinner <strong>and</strong> conduct our “Manhood<br />
Discussions” where we talk about what it means to<br />
be a Christian man <strong>and</strong> what it means to be the<br />
spiritual leader of your family.<br />
• Every man on the retreat must be present for the<br />
manhood discussions.<br />

The Hunt<br />
• All hunts will be from elevated tower st<strong>and</strong>s. All<br />
st<strong>and</strong>s are corned at least once a week.<br />
• You will be taken to your st<strong>and</strong> before daybreak by a<br />
guide. You must remain in your st<strong>and</strong> until you are<br />
picked up. NEVER leave your st<strong>and</strong> for any reason.<br />
• If found away from your st<strong>and</strong>, your day's hunt <strong>and</strong><br />
the remainder of your booked hunt will be<br />
terminated. No refunds will be issued for a<br />
terminated hunt.<br />

The Hunt<br />
• All firearms must remain unloaded with the actions<br />
open until you are safely in your st<strong>and</strong>. Unload your<br />
firearm when you hear your guide coming to pick<br />
you up.<br />
• Each hunter will be allowed to harvest one buck (12”<br />
or larger) <strong>and</strong> either one doe or one hog for a<br />
maximum of 2 animals.<br />
• Prior to allowing anyone to hunt, each attendee will<br />
be required to sign a liability waiver <strong>and</strong> show a<br />
Valid SC <strong>Hunting</strong> License.<br />

License<br />
• All hunters are required to have a valid South<br />
Carolina <strong>Hunting</strong> License <strong>and</strong> Big Game Permit.<br />
Anyone born after 1979 must have a valid Hunters<br />
Safety Course ID to hunt in the state of South<br />
Carolina.<br />

website: http://www.dnr.sc.gov/purchase.html<br />
• You can also obtain a license 24 hours a day, 7 days a<br />
week by phone 1-866-714-3611. Most major credit<br />
cards are accepted.<br />

can get cold even in SC in<br />

• From Augusta: Take US 278 through Barnwell. Just the other side of<br />
Barnwell (after crossing over the Salkehatchie River) SC 300 will bear<br />
off to the left. Blackwater is approximately 8.5 miles down US 300.<br />
• From Savannah: Take US 17N until it runs into US 321N (at I-95).<br />
Follow US 321N until it crosses US 278 in Fairfax. Turn left on US 278<br />
<strong>and</strong> follow it until it runs into US 301 in Allendale (US 278 <strong>and</strong> US 301<br />
run together for approximately 5.5 miles). Stay on US 301 for<br />
approximately 8.5 miles after US 278 turns off to Barnwell. Turn left on<br />
SC 300. Blackwater is approximately 3 miles up SC 300.<br />
• From Columbia: Take I-26E to US 601S (Exit 145A). Stay on US 601S<br />
through Orangeburg. US 601S will meet up with US 301S in<br />
Orangeburg. When US 301S splits off from US 601S south of Barnwell<br />
stay on US 301S to Ulmer. Just the other side of Ulmer you will turn<br />
right onto SC 300. Blackwater is approximately 3 miles up SC 300.
