Carroll County PARK PAVILIONS are available for rent! Carroll County Recreation & Parks schedules pavilion rentals at park sites located throughout the county. To reserve a pavilion, please contact the Department at 410-386-2103 or send an email to cloar@ccg.carr.org. All facilities are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. The cost is $75 to reserve the pavilion. I mean, the entire species moves and sounds the same! How about a chance to step into somebody else’s hooves or paws for once? Spend the week experimenting with movement and sound, imitating all manner of animals from the jungle to the farmyard. We’ll work individually with all to create a personalized, fun and challenging experience. In the end, showcase your brief, improv-based performance inspired by Aesop’s Fables. Participants will have a chance to make their own props and animal headdresses with odds and ends and great amounts of imagination. Bring a bag lunch & drink. Age 6-11. a n d T E E N ARCHERY CAMP Jun 20–Jun 24 OR Aug 1-Aug 5 5 sessions Monday-Friday Program #11SM100 6/20-6/24, 10am-3pm Program #11SM101 8/1-8/5, 10:30am-3:30pm Recommended for ages 10-14. For those with no experience or those who have attended previous archery programs. Either way, make sure you like to shoot a lot! We will emphasize form and mechanics in the morning, have lunch out of doors, take a short break in the gym, and then return to do small group stations, shoot a 300 round and play other fun bow and arrow games. Participants should be sincere about learning/improving their archery skills. You must use our equipment – bow type and size is up to the instructor’s discretion. Camp rules must be followed at all times – no refund if a child is dismissed due to poor behavior – safety is our highest concern. Pack a lunch and drink each day. New workouts are experienced each class which are challenging and fun and can be scaled to the specific fitness levels of the participants, from high school freshmen to division one athletes. Grade: 9-college.
