Welcome to Physics:
Welcome to Physics. Ms. Oakes and I are teaching the academic physics course this year, and we
are glad to have you in our class. Please feel free to contact either of us with questions and
concerns. Ms. Oakes works part time and is not available before school. If you have specific
questions about assignments in the morning, you may stop by Rm. 307 to ask Dr. Vallette before
We hope you will enjoy the course and learn new ways of looking at the world. The teachers and
the text for this course provide relevant examples of physics concepts. Teachers challenge students
to apply previous knowledge and language evidence in establishing relationships between given
variables.
