HISTORY
Joe Atria came to America with a dream. He wanted to provide for his family
and start a business he could be proud of. After settling in Mt. Lebanon, Pa., Joe
bought a small piece of property and turned it into his very own grocery store.
Joe’s attention to detail and quality made the store a neighborhood success, and
he soon expanded the business to include a barbershop and dry cleaning store.
In 1933, when prohibition ended, Joe was ready with another great idea for his
customers. Cold six packs to go. It wasn’t long before Atria’s became the favorite
watering hole for people of all walks of life.
Today, Atria’s Restaurant and Tavern has grown even
more. But we still keep Joe’s dream alive and do things
the way he did. By giving customers a comfortable place
to relax, quench a thirst, enjoy a great meal, share a laugh,
and celebrate the little things that make life good.
