16 Brand Graphics Guidelines Cox School Promotional Items and Premiums The basic guidelines set forth for print materials also govern the development of all promotional items and premiums. This includes T-shirts, coffee mugs, pens, book bags, totes, or other giveaway or premium items. The SMU Cox logo must appear on all promotional items. The SMU Cox logo should be given dominant or equal size and position relative to symbols for other entities such as institutes, departments, programs, or events that may be included. Color usage should be guided by the color palettes recommended on page 12. Reversing the logo in gold or white on a dark blue, red, gray, silver or black background is permitted. Again, SMU and the Cox School have relationships with recommended vendors for these types of promotional items. Please contact the Cox Marketing and Communications Office for information. Approval of all items and designs is required by the Cox Marketing and Communications Office before production of any promotional item.
17 Brand Graphics Guidelines Cox School Color Options for Electronic Media Colors for printed materials differ from colors used for electronic media. The Cox School color options for electronic media are within the RGB framework. The Cox Web site Content Management System will ensure that you adhere to these color options when making content changes to your Web pages. For other electronic pieces you might develop, such as e-newsletters or e-mail marketing campaigns, the proper mixes for the RGB colors are detailed below. Please consult the Cox Marketing and Communications Office when creating such pieces.
