A First Life Residency Project in Landscape - Imagine Australia

“When I was invited to be part of this project in landscape I knew it would be an excellent opportunity for me, as an artist who works
largely with landscape, to do research and develop new subject matter. What I have experienced so far is a far richer cultural
experience than I had anticipated. The privileged insights into indigenous interpretations of the world, the association with Chinese
artists whose works are far more ambitious than I am accustomed to seeing in Australia and the constant dialogue with all involved
in this project is making me rethink my preconceptions of what art I can make”.
