THROTTLE BODY
Indispensable on the racetrack.
Polished Ergal, CAD/CAM machined from a solid blank. Easy
to fit and to adjust thanks to the uniball control linkage.
The original “street-legal” exhaust system.
This system comes complete with silencers and a full set of manifolds
(central, side, front and rear) for road use. The dB killer system can
be removed with just one screw* to allow maximum performance to be
achieved on the track. The system is homologated for road use in the
EU and all countries accepting EU directives. Comes complete with
homologation certificate. Laser homologation mark at the end of the
silencers (homologation number E1 0489).
Titanium silencers, stainless steel side, central, front and rear manifolds
and carbon hangers give a weight saving of 26%.

Maximum performance on the track and on the road.
These special wheels (front and rear) in forged Anticorodal 6061
aluminium were designed by Aprilia in partnership with OZ, the
leading manufacturer of high performance wheels. The reduction
in weight achieved through the use of lightweight materials and
advanced production technology makes for a corresponding
reduction in the power required to move and steer the bike: the
result is significantly improved handling, both on the road and
on the track. The reduction in weight produces a corresponding

For use in conjunction with a racing exhaust system to
enhance performance. Developed exclusively for racing use,
this is a complete programme to increase the volume and
output of the air intake system on the TUONO 1000 (’02 –
’05), while reducing overall weight through the use of carbon
fibre. The overbored throttle body provides a net increase in
available power. When used in conjunction with the “Aprilia
by Akrapovic” sports exhaust system, it gives a further boost
to acceleration. The kit comprises: carbon fibre airbox, 57
mm throttle body, dedicated EPROM chip plus cover, throttle
cables, gasket set and instruction manual.
