Made from very rigid steel, these springs ensure improved handling and performance over rough ground and when the bike is fully loaded. In particular, they prevent ‘pitching’ i.e. the sudden transfer of weight from the rear of the bike to the front, and the consequent bottoming out of the forks, caused by sharp braking or sudden impacts.
