columnar organization with a term<strong>in</strong>al<br />

<strong>Metaphyseal</strong> vasculature sends a signal to<br />

term<strong>in</strong>al chondrocyte which causes it to undergo<br />

a morpholgical change: cell beg<strong>in</strong>s to apoptose<br />

or somehow to be released.<br />

<strong>Metaphyseal</strong> vasculature <strong>in</strong>vades the lacuna of<br />
