Radiographic alterations: acutely<br />
If no displacement of the fragment occurs, or if<br />
angle of projection is oblique to the fracture, the<br />
radiographic image may look normal<br />
If some degree of displacement occurs <strong>in</strong> the plane<br />
of the projection, transverse lucency is seen <strong>in</strong> the<br />
subphyseal region of metaphysis<br />
Fracture l<strong>in</strong>e may be apparent <strong>in</strong> one projection<br />
