DEFINITION:<br />

Public sessions refer to hearings, town hall meetings & debates held regarding<br />

proposed changes to the legal framework (i.e. draft laws, amendments to laws,<br />

constitutions, etc.)<br />

RATIONALE:<br />

This indicator measures one aspect <strong>of</strong> programs designed to develop<br />

democratically-derived constitutions and legal and regulatory frameworks through<br />

participatory processes.<br />

public meetings, plays etc.<br />
