• Tested extensively using ModelSim SE 6.2g simulator for pre-synthesis and post-synthesis simulations.
Monte-Carlo simulation of Hamming codes Spring’12
• Implemented a systematic (7,4) Hamming encoder. Implemented the minimum-distance hard-decision decoder and
the maximum-likelihood soft-decision decoder in MATLAB.
• Simulated and compared the performance of the two decoders.
Multi-hop Ad hoc Network Spring’12
• Configured single-hop and multi-hop wireless Ad Hoc networks.
• Implemented multi-hop routing using Optimized Link State Routing Protocol and tested using ping packets.
Switched LANs Spring’12
• Simulated different Ethernet LAN configurations using switches and hubs in OPNET
• Evaluated the performance of the configurations based on Traffic Received, Delay and Collision count with time.
Video compression Fall’08
• Implemented intra-frame coding for a H.264 encoder in C.
ROBDD generation Spring’09
• Built an efficient generator of Reduced Ordered Boolean Decision Diagram (ROBDD), a data structure used in
logic synthesis to represent a Boolean function. Language used: C.
