Miller Mail is a newsletter from Noblesville Schools for all families with children in Noblesvilleʼs schools. We
want to keep you informed about activities and news from throughout the school district. At the end of this
newsletter, you will find information from community organizations that offer a variety of activities to our
District, most schools receive Aʼs on state report cards
The Noblesville Schools district and the majority of its schools earned an A on the State of Indianaʼs
Accountability Report Card for the 2011-12 school year. The grades take into account a variety of factors,
namely student performance and student growth.
In addition to the district, Hinkle Creek, Noble Crossing, North, Stony Creek, Noblesville East Middle School,
and Noblesville High School earned Aʼs. Hazel Dell and White River each received a B. The former
Noblesville Intermediate School also received a B and that grade is reflected online as a grade for Noblesville
West Middle School. Because it is a new school, Promise Road will not receive a grade until next year.
"Our excellent grades are a reflection of the hard work and talent of our teachers and administrators and the
cooperation of our families. Our students' achievement and growth is maximized if we are doing the right
work everyday with a solid curriculum, artful instruction that actively engages students in their learning,
careful and frequent monitoring of student learning throughtout the year, and making adjustments as needed
for individual students," said Dr. Libbie Morgan Conner, superintendent.
"Noblesville Schools is proud to have such an outstanding staff doing such great work with our students that
is reflected in the state's new A-F Accountability Grading System," Dr. Conner said.
The Indiana Growth Model tracks the progress of students from year to year and recognizes dramatic gains
in proficiency regardless of whether students “pass” or “fail” a test. For more information on the Growth
