Dr. Richard J. Gentile Scholarship Open to students who have completed at least one year at UMKC and 24 credit hours with a GPA of a 3.0 or
higher. Additionally, student must be working on term papers or other work with stratigraphy and geologic field
mapping.
GEOSCIENCES
Denis Ward Scholarship Outstanding student in Geosciences.
Geosciences Scholarship Undergraduate student majoring in Geosciences.
Truman P. Stauffer Undergraduate students majoring in Geosciences, preference given to those students focusing in Geology.

students who graduate from Pittsburg State University or are from the southeast corner of Kansas.
