Alhamdulillah, all praise to Allah, the Merciful and Charitable because of
His guidance, blessing and affection, the researcher can finish this thesis.
The researcher would like to express her deepest gratitude to Mrs. Umiati
Jawas, M.Sc as her first advisor and Mrs. Dwi Poedjiastuti, MA as her second
advisor, for their suggestions, invaluable guidance and advice during the
consultation period, and their comments and corrections during the completion of
this thesis.
Her sincere gratitude and appreciation are also extended to Mrs. Iswahyuni
M.Pd as a writing lecturer in class G, fourth semester students of English
Department at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang who had given the
opportunity for conducting the research. Besides, Mr. Teguh Sri Wiyono, S.Pd
