Let us describe one meshing+operators strategy: “Discrete Duality<br />

FV”. The 2D idea is due to Hermeline <strong>and</strong> to Domelevo & Omnès .<br />

One starts with a usual mesh (called “primal”) <strong>and</strong> uses both center<br />

<strong>and</strong> vertex unknowns.<br />
