Developed a patient educational program involving provision of educational<br />
materials including pamphlets and DVD materials, and a specific algorithm of<br />
patient follow-up and sleep apnea treatment compliance monitoring to be<br />
implemented by respiratory therapy in a team type of an approach<br />

In this leadership role, I have orchestrated the following:<br />
Complete revision of lab protocols and procedures<br />
Navigated the sleep lab/center through a significant expansion phase involving an<br />
increase in sleep lab beds from 4 to 8 and a complete change in location at the<br />
hospital main campus, and an additional lab site<br />
Led an effort to reduce sleep study interpretation turnaround time (from 3 months<br />
to less than 1-2 weeks) and enhanced the overall quality of the data acquisition<br />
and scoring of the sleep studies<br />
Led the lab through successful dual American Academy of Sleep Medicine<br />
accreditation of two sites from the 2010<br />
