<strong>Steel</strong> <strong>buoy</strong><br />
<strong>SW240</strong> / <strong>DW240</strong><br />
The PINTSCH ABEN steel <strong>buoy</strong> type <strong>SW240</strong> is used for<br />
shallow water applications and the <strong>DW240</strong> is used in deep<br />
water applications.<br />
Floating body with ventilated central pocket, two lifting eyes<br />
and two mooring eyes are provided. Skirt keel is fitted with<br />
cast iron counterweights.<br />
The superstructure with ladder, made from hot galvanized<br />
steel, carries the lantern, the radar reflector and the day<br />
mark, if required. Top mark and painting above the waterline<br />
are in accordance with IALA maritime <strong>buoy</strong>age system<br />
Region “A” alternatively Region “B”. These <strong>buoy</strong>s can be<br />
operated with solar powered batteries with an electric marine<br />
lantern type LEDmin MKII, EE 155 or EE 250.<br />
Additionally the <strong>buoy</strong> can equipped with a GPS<br />
Synchronisation Module or the remote monitoring system<br />
type CoDeSy MKII.<br />
Optionally the <strong>buoy</strong> can be equipped with solar compact unit.<br />
